Vinyl Windows
When it comes to high-quality vinyl windows, our crews stick with two brands: ProVia and ViWinco.
Provia has been delivering high-quality products since 1977. Along with their phenomenal product line, our crews love them for their fantastic support and family-run values—especially helping to keep material costs affordable.
ViWinco is a local window and door supplier based in Berks County. The company is constantly refining and improving its product lines, is very supportive of local contractors, and offers reasonable cost structures for homeowners.
Here are our favorite products:
- Provia Endure Series
- ViWinco Cambridge and S-Series

Wood Windows
When it comes to wood windows, Marvin has been a trusted name for more than 100 years. Check out a few of our favorite products. You’ll find it clear why our specialized installers and homeowners love them.
- Marvin Elevate Series
- Wood interior with fiberglass exterior
- Highest standard in exterior finishes: AAMA 2605 and AAMA 624
- Resists fading and scratching
- Fiberglass exterior is extremely durable and low-maintenance
The Elevate Series does come in limited sizes and colors. However, by paring down design choices, Marvin has been able to keep upfront costs reasonable—making the Elevate Series an excellent choice if they fit your style and wallet.

- Marvin Ultimate Collection
For custom projects, the Marvin Ultimate Collection is unparalleled. These aluminum-clad wood windows come in a huge palette of colors, sizes, and design options—and are a high-end investment that adds distinction to any home.
- Marvin Modern Collection
The Marvin Modern Collection features thin-profile windows that don’t sacrifice strength. Designed for modern architecture, these windows are made from a proprietary high-density fiberglass exterior and low-gloss aluminum interior. They’re a high-end investment, but absolutely worth it for the right home.
- Marvin Vivid Collection (Coming soon!)
Marvin’s Vivid Collection is a new offering with:
- Fiberglass exteriors and fiberglass reinforced composite interiors: suitable for transitional to architectural applications
- Larger sizes available than with Elevate, with a focus on sleek interiors with larger glass areas in relation to the frame
- Additional Wood Window Brands
Aside from Marvin products, we also love installing some generally more budget-friendly options.
Brands like:
Doors
When it comes to residential doors, ProVia reigns supreme.
Here’s why:
- ProVia offers both fiberglass and steel options
- Woodgrain SignetⓇ Fiberglass looks like real wood
- Standard and trending colors and styles available
- Highest finish warranties in the industry
Additionally, ProVia steel doors are constructed from 20-gauge metal—a thicker, sturdier steel than the industry standard 24-gauge. And since ProVia controls all aspects of the creation process, they’re able to offer a Lifetime guarantee.

Asphalt Shingles
With asphalt shingles being a highly trusted option for southeastern PA homeowners, our roofers know the best shingles when they see them. Our two favorite manufacturers are GAF and CertainTeed.
- GAF Timberline
GAF’s TimberlineⓇ HDZ and upgraded UHDZ lines are the most used shingles in the United States. And it’s no wonder why.
These products are:
- Dependable for decades of low-maintenance protection
- Reliable with an unlimited wind warranty (pending installation)
- Striking with upgrade options for colors and shadow line emphasis
And for a more an even more upscale feel:
- Slateline shingles mimic the look of natural slate
- Camelot II shingles give a romantic, European feel
Whichever you choose, you can’t lose!

- Certainteed Landmark and Landmark Pro
Another excellent shingle choice with a beautiful color palette and variegation—the intentional use of multiple colors for a checkered, three-dimensional effect—are Certainteed’s LandmarkⓇ and LandmarkⓇ PRO lines.
And similar to GAF offerings, CertainTeed offers upgrades with:
- Grand Manor shingles for the look of slate at a fraction of the cost
- Belmont shingles for architectural depth and an upscale feel
Standing Seam Metal Roofs
Whether for small accents or the entire roofing system, standing seam metal is a fantastic material choice for a roof.
While we don’t necessarily push a particular brand—there are many fantastic products available with all of the same basic functionality—here are a few reasons why you might consider a metal roof.
- It’s light—making it ideal for older structures or installing over top shingles
- It lasts longer than asphalt shingles—between 40–70 years with minimal upkeep
- Metal roofs reflect the sun and keep cooling costs lower in the summer
- Contrary to popular myth, they are actually quiet in rainstorms
To get an idea of the look of standing seam, here’s a great accent roof over a covered porch in Gap, PA: Check it out!

Siding (Engineered Wood)
For residential siding, our certified installers highly recommend the LP product line. Specifically, their LP SmartSideⓇ products and upgraded coated panels, Diamond Kote.
LP SmartsideⓇ offers:
- ExpertFinishⓇ Colors: 16 factory-finished colors and two unique textures
- Advanced Durability: Engineered wood is pest, hail, moisture, and impact resistant
- Leading Protection: All LPⓇ products come backed by an industry-leading 5/50-year prorated limited warranty
Additionally, the coated Diamond Kote line comes in 20 unique colors and with an amazing 30-year no-fade warranty.
Masonry / Stone Veneer
As a siding material, real stone is unparalleled in both style and longevity—and our in-house masons love to install it. However, the initial investment is steep, and as such, we often recommend a stone veneer for homeowners who love the look of natural stone.
Here are our favorites.
- ProVia Cultured Stone
Our most highly recommended product for homeowners who love the look of stone, but not the price tag, is ProVia Cultured Stone.
ProVia Cultured Stone is a stone veneer created from a proprietary blend of cement, high-quality aggregates, iron oxide, and pigments shaped in handcrafted molds to mimic the texture, look, and coloring of authentic quarried stone.
The process begins with an artisanal stone mason chiseling quarried stone into attractive pieces. These stones are then used to create molds that nearly perfectly mimic the nuance of true handcut stone—something computer modeling or CAD imaging simply can’t compete with.
Additionally, ProVia Cultured Stone comes with the same amazing support and warranties as other ProVia products: another reason we wholeheartedly recommend them to our clients.
For more inspiration, check out our stone veneer and masonry projects in the project gallery!
- Versetta Stone
Another beautiful and high-quality stone veneer comes from Versetta Stone.
As a more economical option, these products are installed in panels—rather than being set stone by stone. This limits style options somewhat, but also makes them a great choice for accent areas or smaller walls.
